Welcome to Ready Rocket Resources
Ready Rocket Resources is the brain-child of Senior Occupational Therapists Bella Martini and Tash O'Connor based in Perth, Western Australia.
Bella and Tash are driven by their genuine dedication to helping children feel and understand all of their emotions in a safe way, while sharing a passion for neurodiverse-affirming practice.
Where it all began
When Bella and Tash started their therapy careers (pictured here), they were enthusiastic young therapists full of energy, big ideas, and a deep love for working with kids. They explored a wide range of therapy approaches while supporting children across clinics, classrooms, and homes.
Over time, they noticed a significant shift in how children were being supported with their emotional regulation, especially as awareness of neurodiversity grew.
They began to see that emotional regulation was often being taught in a one-size-fits-all way. And for many children, especially neurodivergent kids, it just didn’t quite fit.
As they continued their work, a pattern began to emerge:
🧠 Kids were learning to avoid big feelings instead of feeling safe enough to move through them
👀 The hidden role of the sensory system was often missing from the conversation
🏠 Families needed easy, science-backed strategies they could use right away
🌈 There was a gap in neuroaffirming resources that celebrated individuality rather than expecting all kids to develop in the same way, meeting neurotypical expectations
In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, therapy was moving online, waitlists were growing, and many families in rural areas were missing out on support. Bella and Tash knew it was time to do something. So they launched Ready Rocket Resources.
The Mission
We’re here to help kids feel safe in their bodies, be proud of who they are, and confident to explore the world around them; whether they’re zooming, wobbling, tiptoeing, or tumbling through it.
Our mission is to support emotional learning in a way that is:

What started as one little book has now grown into:
